What is the difference between a Mobile Patrol Pass and a Property Patrol Stop?
A Mobile Patrol Pass is a visible mobile check. With a Property Patrol Stop, the guard stops and spends additional time observing your property's exterior.
Are the patrol times random?
Yes. Patrol timing is intentionally randomized rather than scheduled at the same time each night.
What is Away From Home Watch?
Plus and Elite customers can use Away From Home Watch when they are away to help keep their property information and patrol activity organized in the app.
Will I receive notifications and photos?
App features vary by plan. Plus and Elite include enhanced patrol reporting and photo confirmations.
What happens if a guard sees a crime or something unusual?
If a guard observes a crime in progress, an immediate threat to safety or another emergency, they will call 911 and provide the location and relevant details. Where safe and lawful, guards may verbally challenge those involved, help people move to safety and take reasonable action to interrupt unlawful activity within their legal authority. Physical intervention is assessed case by case and is not guaranteed. Guards document observations and provide app updates according to your plan and service procedures. For non-emergency concerns, guards contact police through the appropriate non-emergency channel when needed. NeighbourGuard does not replace police, fire or emergency medical services. If you need emergency assistance, call 911 directly.
